Senior Vice President, Branch Manager · Rate
NMLS #414113
Eric Hamilton has spent 22 years in lending, but what he’s most proud of isn’t his personal production; it’s the culture he’s built. As a senior vice president and branch manager at Rate, Hamilton leads a high-performing, self-sourced team that runs on one core mission: standards over feelings. It’s a mindset that prioritizes accountability, structure and doing what’s right over what’s easy. “Our culture is built on discipline, ownership and clarity,” Hamilton says. “We show up prepared, stay focused on solutions and never lose sight of the client experience.”
While he ranks in the top 1% of mortgage originators at Rate nationally and is currently No. 7 in Illinois for units closed, his true focus is on helping others rise. Whether it’s a teammate chasing a career goal or a client navigating debt restructuring, his team is built to deliver consistent, strategy-first solutions that create trust and long-term value.
Every part of the process is intentional. From the initial consultation to post-close support, Hamilton’s team blends speed, communication and white-glove service to create a brand known for reliability and results. Hamilton also is the host of Rate of Success, a podcast dedicated to spotlighting top real estate professionals and entrepreneurs who share a passion for growth, purpose and doing business the right way.
His team isn’t built around volume; it’s built around vision. The goal? To become the most-trusted, most-referred brand in lending by staying grounded in service, execution and high standards. “This business changes fast,” Hamilton says. “But when your foundation is strong, your values are clear and your team is aligned, you’re built to grow — and built to last.”
